How does UketoAI work?

UketoAI uses AI-powered image recognition (Google Gemini / Vertex AI) to extract information from photos of documents like business cards, receipts, and invoices. Simply take a photo or select one from your library, and the AI will automatically recognize and organize the information.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Images are processed by Google Gemini (Vertex AI) and are never stored on our servers. Recognition results are stored only on your device. Your account is identified by a device-generated UUID — we do not collect your email address or require any social login.

What is the free tier limit?

Free users can perform up to 20 scans per month. The quota resets monthly based on your registration date. Subscribe to Pro (100/mo), Premium (500/mo) or Ultimate (2,000/mo) for a higher quota and an ad-free experience.

Why was my scan counted even though recognition failed?

Each scan consumes AI processing resources regardless of the outcome. If recognition fails, you can still manually enter the information.

What are add-on credit packs?

Credit packs (100, 200, or 500 credits) are one-time purchases that give you additional scans beyond your monthly quota. Credits do not expire and are consumed only after your subscription quota is used up.

What is iCloud sync?

If you enable iCloud sync in the App's settings, your scan records and custom scan templates will be synced across your Apple devices via CloudKit. This feature is optional and disabled by default.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions, find UketoAI, and tap "Cancel Subscription".

How do I delete my account?

Open UketoAI, go to Settings and tap "Delete Account". This will permanently remove all your server-side data. To also remove local data, uninstall the App.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You can export individual records as text with images. Exporting business cards as vCard (.vcf) files and CSV, as well as saving contacts directly to your iPhone Contacts, are available exclusively for subscribers.
